OUR BELOVED RAINFOREST
Deforestation alone accounts for nearly 10% of all global greenhouse gas emissions. To celebrate 'World Rainforest Day' on June 22, Little Legend invites kids ages 3-10 to participate “Our Beloved Rainforest” workshop to raise awareness of forest preservation and fostering sustainable environmental knowledge for children through meaningful play at Play Matters : Circle of Play event.
From 'OUR BELOVED RAINFOREST' workshop, children will learn through 3 activities which are focus on 2 main learning keys:
- Key characteristics of tropical rainforests
Plants, animals, weather and temperature in each layers
- Some deforestation facts for kids that can be shared
How does deforestation affect animals in the rainforest?
How can we help rainforests from being destroyed?
